Privacy Policy

Nirixan (“Nirixan”, “we”) is operated by PRAJ Eservices Inc., founded by APS. This policy explains what we collect through nirixan.com and during pilots, and how we handle it. We follow the principles of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP).

In short: we never sell your data — not to anyone, ever. We collect only what you send us, use it only to reply and run your pilot, never use your materials to train public AI systems, and delete your source files on request.

What we collect

Contact form: your name, email, institution, role and message.
Pilot materials: if you choose to share question papers or teaching material for a pilot, the documents you send us.
Technical data: IP address, browser type and standard server logs (via our host, Cloudflare) for security and abuse prevention.
We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We self-host our fonts and load no third-party font, analytics, or ad networks.

How we use it

To reply to you and set up a pilot.
To generate your assessment-alignment report.
To operate and secure the site.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use the papers you share to train publicly available AI systems.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the form or send materials. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Your rights).

Who we share it with

Cloudflare — website hosting, the database that stores your form submission, and DNS (stored in the Asia-Pacific region).
An AI provider — during a pilot, the text of documents you share may be processed by a third-party AI service to generate the report. This provider may operate outside India. We will name the specific provider in the pilot agreement before you share any real paper.

We share data only with processors needed to provide the service, under confidentiality obligations.

Question papers & student data

Please send papers and teaching material only — do not include students’ personal data (names, roll numbers, IDs).
Our website and the question-paper tools are not aimed at children, and we ask you not to send children’s personal data with papers. The lesson-coaching tool works with class audio — how children’s data is handled there is set out in Classroom recordings & children’s data below. If a child’s data reaches us in error, contact us and we will delete it.
Unreleased exam papers are sensitive. During a pilot we agree in writing how papers are transmitted, used and deleted. Do not send live or unreleased papers over unencrypted channels.

Classroom recordings & children’s data

Our lesson-coaching tool analyses the audio of a class, which usually includes students’ voices. Students in a school class are generally children, and their voices are personal data under the DPDP Act — so we handle these recordings differently from papers:

Your school is the data fiduciary. Your school decides to record lessons, chooses which lessons, and is responsible for the notice and consent required from students and their parents or guardians — including parental consent under the DPDP Act. We provide a data-processing agreement covering this.
Nirixan acts only as your school’s processor. The lesson is recorded — by the teacher on their own device, or from the school’s own classroom recording — and uploaded; we process that audio solely to generate the coaching report on your school’s instructions, and for no other purpose.
By default, we do not keep the recording. The audio is used only to produce the report and is not stored on our systems afterwards. A school may opt in to recording retention on a signed custom plan — recordings are then kept only in that school’s own account so its principal can review a lesson, auto-deleted after the school’s chosen window (30, 60 or 90 days), and deletable by the school at any time. During processing the audio is handled by our AI provider under contract, solely to generate your report; we name the provider in the school agreement.
The report is about teaching, not students. It describes the teacher’s practice against NEP pedagogy and is not designed to identify or profile individual students. It is kept in your school’s account until you delete it.
We never sell recordings or reports, and never use them to train publicly available AI systems.

Cross-border transfer

Our host (Cloudflare) operates globally; we store submissions in the Asia-Pacific region. AI processing during a pilot may occur outside India. By sharing data you consent to such transfer for the purposes stated above.

Retention & deletion

Contact submissions: kept while we correspond and for a reasonable period after, then deleted.
Pilot materials: the source documents you send are used only to produce your report, then deleted unless you ask us to keep them. Any report we generate for you is retained only to deliver it, or kept in your account if you have one.
Lesson recordings: not stored by default. If your school has opted in to retention, recordings are kept only in your school’s account, auto-deleted after your chosen window (30, 60 or 90 days), and removed immediately when you delete them or ask us to.
You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on Cloudflare with access limited to the founder. As an early-stage project we cannot yet claim formal certifications (e.g. ISO 27001); we will strengthen this as we grow.

Your rights (DPDP)

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. Contact us and we will act within a reasonable time.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date will change. Material changes affecting pilots will be communicated to pilot partners.
